12/19 – Pondicherry – One day we took an auto-rickshaw into Pondicherry. The highlight for me was the elephant's blessing! Four years ago, when I was there with Kirsten (Chuck had been on his way to Ideal Beach to get treatment & recover from his "unknown" illness!) the elephant had been on vacation – resting at their vacation spot with other elephants. I was so disappointed, BUT, this time, she was back at work – BLESSING anyone that would give her some money or treats, like a banana down her trunk! SO… we all lined up to be blessed! Her trunk felt so heavy, but soft too!
