Changing colors

Changing colors

I know we shouldn’t get attached and make selling a house personal but it’s easier said than done.  When the realtor tells you that the colors you picked out and have lived with for a decade aren’t what the buyers want, you just smile and ask, “What color should we paint?”

The kitchen we have been meaning to remodel will finally get done, complete with new appliances, because no one wants a dated kitchen.  We are looking at the expense as the cost of selling quickly in a weak market.  At least I will have a few months to enjoy cooking in the new kitchen; but not for a while!  The guys are coming on Monday to begin the work so I will be barbequing or we will be eating out for a week or so.
