    I have about finished my extensive preparation for the trip. Just a few more fun Holidays with the family, and I will be off! I sure hope I have thought of everything, but I always think I'm forgeting something when I travel. Pretty soon, my whole material life will be reduced to a backpack. Can't wait!

    I am only a little nervous about the trip.  A long flight (actually 5 airplanes) just to get me to En Zed.  It is kind of mind-blowing to consider that I will actually be there...alone...for 3 months.  I do have a great amount of preparation done, and I believe that I have the perfect balance of enough and not too much stuff to take with me.

    I am hoping to beat Mario Galaxies the night before I fly out.
