Day 12 - 550 km left to go.

Today I walk in honor of my former Al Hada students.  May they never stop learning.

Walking from Granon to Tosanto on this cloudy and windy day with 3 Spanish ladies.  They are very nice and helping me with my Spanish and I need a lot of help.

Had a very special night last night at the pilgrim´s albergue.  It is located in the old bell tower of the church and their one rule is to have dinner with everyone.  There was 45 people last night and they were able to sit us all.  Homemade soup and pudding was served. More people than usual because the town prior to Granon had no water but some how we managed with only 3 bathrooms.  Also, because of shortage of floor space some of us slept in the loft of the church and I was lucky to do so.

The hosts also offer a prayer session at 9pm and all languages get to participate.  It was held in the loft of the church lit with candles.  At the end we went around the circle expressing what we wished for the person on our right for their camino one at a time.  Then a pilgrim´s candle was passed around and each pilgrim could say whatever they wanted out loud or in silence.  It was truly a special moment on the camino.

My feet are better meaning my mood is better too :).

Time to finish the last 5km.
