I am very HAPPY to be saying I am done with walking! Last Tuesday I started the final leg from Fisterre - Muxia - Olveiroa - Negreia - Santiago and arrived yesterday at 3 30pm. I had two intense days of racing time and I did not enjoy that. The distances were greater and I was out in coastal mountains where dogs are not chained or fenced in. I got off the trail several times making me walking longer and back tracking. I ended up doing this part in the opposite direction so the markers were harder to follow.
Long story short - I have walked over 900km and now I can play tourist again. Nov 9th I go to Madrid for a week. Nov 16 I fly to London and will be in England for 3 weeks. Dec 9 I fly out of Paris to the USA.
