Another windy day and our
final two dives are cancelled. This is really annoying because we'd
already decided that we'd leave the island today regardless of
whether or not we'd finished the course. I guess we'll just have to
complete it somewhere else. Actually, Alicia's been having some
problems with her ears since the last dives - maybe a break from
diving will do her some good.
We check out of Hotel
Carmelina and leave Isla Mujeres. We've been there for five nights
and we've still got loads of Mexico to see. Having said that, this
flu story seems to be getting bigger. They're calling it swine flu
and talking about restricting travel to and from Mexico. There's
barely anything else on any of the news channels.
It shouldn't cause us too
many problems though. It sounds like it's mainly in Mexico City and
we're planning on heading down the coast for a little while.
