My uncle (Wayne Strickland) has submitted a design for a sculpture, his submission is on page 9 of the site. Please take a look and vote for Wayne or whoever's work you like best.

Waynes's website, with examples of his painting and sculpture, is here:

Yesterday I was away from school all day. I had an ALT day at another school in the morning, then the monthly ALT meeting at the city office in the afternoon. At the ALT day I dropped my laptop from my backpack onto a hard floor, it landed with a really big bang on one corner and has a small dent, but it's working ok (phew). I don't know what I'd do if it was stuffed.

I have to decide about recontracting soon, I have been told I should just say yes, because I can always pull out later, but if I say no I can't change my mind. Seems reasonable.

Have to get to class so maybe I'll update more later today...or maybe not.

Hi Pete,

Loved your animation, my kids thought it was great. It may be cold in Japan, but it is sizzling in OZ. The air conditioning at Holmesglen doesn't cope when it is 45 degrees!!!! Life is really busy at the moment, but our classes are filled and our buildings overflowing. We are all exhausted and classes begin next Monday! Sounds like you are still enjoying your time in Japan. Hope you can make up your mind about re-contracting. Just make the most of the adventure. Travelling to Edinburgh would be great, I hope your animation is accepted.

Cheers,

Jenny
