Blurred memories Memoirs of a lost and bewildered Australian chick through Europe.

Maybe it's not so bad.

So i may have overreacted the other day. I think that perhaps i had an attack of the drama queens. Work at the moment now isn't so bad. It's actually turned boring, which is much better than stressfull. I've found out quite quickly that all radiology departments are similar. It doesn't matter where on earth you are you still get bullshit request forms from dumbass doctors with visions of their own godliness, equipment breaks down alot, there will always be fat smelly people for abdomen xrays (they have this thing over here called c. diff- think isolation precautions like mrsa and vre but add in explosive diahorrea).

One thing i'm definately keen on here (apart from pacs of course, which is lovely- you guys should get in at liverpool, it's tops), is how pedantic they are on radiation protection. I swear for the same number of patients you only have to do half the work. I haven't done a lateral chest xray or erect abdomen since i've been here and i definately don't miss them!
