Leaving Bangkok in a few hours. Got an overpriced Lonely Planet guide for the southern beaches/ area of Thailand - turned out to be a bad copy -oh, well...
I expected to get a lot more harassed by vendors, like it was the case in India - pleased to report that it isn't that way at all..
Thais seem to be very protective about there Soda bottles. When you buy one they ask to pour the liquid into a PLASTIC BAG (yes!!) and give you a straw to go with it!!
