Lonely Planet...

We trekked on – day 8- beautiful days, gorgeous high ass Mts with snow – no sight of Everest yet……………My legs are hurting now all the time. I have never walked so much in my life. It’s hard, very hard and I wonder every night how I am going to make it…..

My moods swing like the trails we are trekking: Up and Down. I get really happy and excited, feel  strong and capable and then all of it is gone…………………….and I feel like I am not going to make it and wish I was somewhere else…….My knees are swollen like ticks after a meal, my legs and feet are hurting and I get sick and tired of walking and eating potatoes every day.

We are now a whole day behind the suggested schedule in our guide book – I don’t know how anybody can walk more than we do – but maybe they had better weather, lighter backpacks or/and a porter…………..

Found a really nice lodge with good prices – very nice couple……………..GOOD POTATOES.

I miss my family and my friends right now……………
