I have never, ever seen so much filth, poverty, public pooping/peeing, crippled people (including kids), people sleeping with kids and babies in the middle of a filthy side walk sprawled out with all their limbs (if they have any).
Not just in one area, but all over India it seems, country sides, towns, cities and villages, picking lice off each other's heads.
The trains, as well as the stations are invested with mice and rats.
Even though I knew..............seeing it is a VERY different story, let me tell you.!
