Wednesday August 21st

Another dreamy day on a bike - actually this one is even more dreamy than the one from Junin to Huancayo, because there is hardly any traffic and the road -following the Rio Mantaro again or still (I don't even know...)-  even more stunning...or maybe just stunning in a different way. I don't even have words: amazing, wondrous, stunningly beautiful...I feel like I am repeating these words and don't even come close to what I want to describe.....what to do? - Photos, sure, but those show a picture of something while I am present and feel it and that is not reflected..but a picture could hold it's own -  if it is a good picture.....but it is not what it is or what I ACTUALLY SEE....I can only try.
Anyways , I do the best I can and maybe my readers will get a glimpse...
Happy as parrots?
How many times can I say: "This is the best day on the bike - this is my favorite road in Peru" - wait, I don't think I have said that yet.....this, TODAY, SO FAR IS my favorite road in Peru! My favorite day on the bike thus far. Weather, temperature =perfect, friendly Peruvians, road conditions- slightly downhill again with a few uphills, surrounding nature and it's stunning unusual beauty
never boring.....new landscape around every corner= PERFECT!!!!
I am grateful for my riding partners and for my continuing health and capability to ride my bicycle at age 54 through South America -Peru. I am simply blown away and have no more words for today and that is what I have to say.
