It is a charming little sea resort town with a lovely church and their beach is the largest on the Baltic. Conditions are great for sailing, windsurfing, and kite surfing so it is a popular destination for German tourists.
Our weather was perfect so we enjoyed walking around the town and visiting several of the upscale shops along the water.
About ¼ of the ships passengers have elected to go to Berlin for the day. The trip started at 6:30 a. m. this morning (with breakfast at 5 a. m.) and they will return between 6 -7 p. m. tonight. We passed and elected to relax.
On returning to the ship, Ben (the barista) made me a delicious “Igloo”. It's a shot of espresso, milk, vanilla, a secret ingredient, ice, blended together with whipped cream and caramel on top.
