It's been a little while since I've updated because I've been getting hammered with weather and I didn't want to write a blog when I was tired and angry.  I've been following Rte 90 West from Tallahassee all the way here, more or less, to New Orleans ... Read more >

The ride from Tallahassee to here in Defuniak Springs was on US Route 90.  It's the best road I've been on so far on this trip.  There has been a pedestrian/bicycle lane the whole way from Tallahassee so far.  This road runs all the way to San Antonio.... Read more >

Day 5, Tallahassee Fl, 296 Miles

I've just finished my ride through Georgia.  The weather was still pretty cold at night.  The outside of my tent froze every night, and in the morning, as the water thawed it would drip ice cold water drops on me to wake me up.  I'm pretty sure I have ... Read more >

Friday, 5 Sep 2008 | Views [1101]

Uncle Brian, Kath, Jeremy and I drove to Ouray, Colorado to hike Mt. Sneffels.  Long story short,  I have a new respect for the natural beauty of my country, but I only made it to the saddle, a couple hundred feet from the summit.  I'll add that mountain to ... Read more >
