Day 5, Tallahassee Fl, 296 Miles

I've just finished my ride through Georgia. The weather was still pretty cold at night. The outside of my tent froze every night, and in the morning, as the water thawed it would drip ice cold water drops on me to wake me up. I'm pretty sure I have the worst tent in tent making history. Other than that my trip through Georgia was great. Anytime I stopped people would come up and talk to me, curious about my bike and what I was doing. I stayed on the back roads through Georgia so I went through a lot of small, nice towns. Really nice hospitable people, and the weather improved day by day as I headed south. Not much else to report, my body is started to get used to the abuse of riding 60 or so miles a day. I'm looking forward to heading West. I'll stop at a Bass Pro Shop along the way and get rid of my horrible tent and get a new one that doesn't drip ice on me.
