No place like home...Thank goodness !!! For those of you that know us, you'll already know the story, basically we decided that we've both worked enough (I've been working for 11 years, Danielle for 11 Months) and that we deserve some long overdue R&R and decided to take in some sights....enjoy

WHAT A PLACE!!!

Its been four months since our last visit and those of you that know us know that we adored it last time and this time was no different!!

However, we did decide not to do all the touristy attractions and to try and sample 'real' Singaporean life. This ranged from all wonders of food (ahhh memories of frog porridge...) in exclusive areas of town, being in Chinatown watching a fashion show (it was nothing on yours Zoe!) to me and James getting hopelessly lost in the car (but my women's intutition soon kicked in to help us out....!!).

Meeting the Barcelona Babes (Tracy and Hazel) was the reason for most of the above things - thanks gals, see you in June!!

We also ventured out of the city 'up north' to Krangi, which was very 'ulu' (remote) in comparison to the modern and hi-tech centre. We tried some fresh goat's milk, wandered along a rather unstable jetty to look out on Malaysia and the 'shanty towns', ate in an eco restaurant where James played a bit of basketball (looked like netball to me, but what the hey!!) with some local kids.

Most of this All of these activities (and others) were, of course, accompanied with the drinking of local (and international) beer, courtesy of Mr Malcolm!

Hope you're enjoying all the pictures, keep adding us comments!!
