No place like home...Thank goodness !!! For those of you that know us, you'll already know the story, basically we decided that we've both worked enough (I've been working for 11 years, Danielle for 11 Months) and that we deserve some long overdue R&R and decided to take in some sights....enjoy

Who shot JR and JFK?

USA | Sunday, 25 November 2007 | Views [1724]

Arriving at Dallas airport, James was what somewhat quiet as he had
realisesd both JR and JFK were shot in Dallas, would the same come of
JABA?? During the taxi ride from the airport to the stockyards (tourist)
area of Fort Worth, Danielle was very excited, about the area that we
were staying in, this soon diminished as we realised that she'd booked us
into a motel on highway 820, about 3 miles from anywhere. To be fair it
wasn't all her fault and we did get a $80 voucher for the misleading
info on the website. So we decided to catch up on more CSI and Law and
Order, and to hire a car and to cram our dallas/ft worth to visit list
into one day.

First on the list was a trip to the site in downtown dallas where JFK
was shot, and the great 6th floor museum which was very interesting,
after a quick walk around downtown dallas we jumped back into the car to
head to the stockyards area of Fort Worth, which is the old cattle area,
and has been touched up into a tourist area, we met some long horns,
sat on big Jake (see photos) and watched the longhorns being hurded
through the streets, it would have been nice to stay longer, but we had to head back to our suite on highway 820!

For some reason the drive to the airport took longer than we expected
and we just made our flight to La, we're hoping to arrived about 30days
late for our next and last flight to London!!
