In the infinity pool on the 57th floor

Today is our last day.  Started the day in the infinity pool again - tough life!  Then finished packing before checking out the National Museum. A big display on Lee Kwan Yew who was prime minister from 1959 to 1990, and much of what Singapore currently is can be attributed to him and his government.  There was also a large display on how Singapore came into being and what history they have on it (which is not much pre 1819).  Leaving Singapore, we have few facts:
* this culture is a multi every thing - language, religion, heritage etc and seems to do it very well
* chewing gum, homosexuality and spitting are all punishable under the law
* it costs over $10,000 to have a license to own a car - then you pay rego, running costs, and have to have driver's license
* Singapore is so clean and green.  The streets all have magnificent gardens, and then there are the designated green areas!!
