Off to see the rest of Dubai. Went on the blue tour today and we did the whole thing checking out the sights - they don't believe in doing things by halves over here. The Palm was huge - no, enormous! The rest was interesting and then off the to the 124th floor of the Burj Kalifa, the tallest building in the world, and the lift took less time than it does to get to my floor at work :(. It was so high that you felt like it was not real. Ears popped twice on the way up. Everything looked fairy tale size. Then we checked out some of the shopping malls with their full sized aquariums, Olympic sized ice skating rinks and snow skiing, and would you believe, penguins, Gentoo ones. A hot day but a good one for the last of being away (I know you are all saying about time - holidays can't go on forever!). See you soon.
