Happy birthday Rookie. Went straight to our motel at 8am to find that they could check us in, so we relaxed for a bit before heading off in the 42C heat to acquaint ourselves with Dubai. Went with the trusty hop on hop off which included a river cruise on a Dhow, as well as looking at a museum on the history of Dubai and to a couple of markets (souks) before having a swim in the roof top pool, an easy tea and collapsing due to fatigue (lost 3 hours overnight) and heat exhaustion.
