3 U Bahn and one bus ride & we were at Schonefeld airport and on out way to Dublin. I like the German transport system, even with all the stairs. Plane ride was uneventful and then we picked up our little Yaris and spent two and a half hours driving to the other side of the country. Very green, very flat with lovely little stone walls. Staying in Galway. Not mentioning the weather just in case it jinxes us. Went out to tea to a spectacular little seafood restaurant and Ian got to have some monkfish (with his Guiness) and I had haddock. Yummo
