Pergamon museum

Pergamon museum

Headed off to the Pergamon museum for the morning.  This is an amazing museum with life size reconstructions of Pergamon and a number of other early sites. The weather is still beautiful with most days about 26 and great for being outdoors so we then went for cruise down the Spree which was great. Later we went out to Charlottenburg palace and had a wander through it and its magnificent gardens.  It was named for Sophie Charlotte, first queen of a united Prussia. One of the Brits we met travelling told us to try to Vietnamese cuisine in Berlin, and my advice is if you are here, do so. The food was tasty, there was enough, had vegetables and was cheap!!! What more can you ask. And it came with a mojito.
