Started the day by going to Barbarini to see Trevi Fountain. It really is a wonderful structure. We threw our coins in to ensure that we come back. From there we walked to the Pantheon. Now that really is a magnificent building. It is the oldest building to still have a roof and their use of arches within the walls was so clever. After we dragged ourselves away we decided to go and see the church of St Clement. Our tour guide yesterday recommended this one as it is a beautiful church but has ruins under it of three other churches going back to the first century nut it closed as we got there sadly. one for the next trip :) Ended up on the Spanish Steps and there was a bride and groom there getting their photos done. Pizza for lunch of course! Then back and had a last gelato from the 'old bridge' who thankfully did not have bright green gelato as we have been told that if the gelato is bright green, then you do not go to that gelateria. Caught the train to Florence which travelled at 245km
