After 20 solid hours flying we have made it to Rome. The plane ride had both legs with an Emirates 380 which surprised me with the room, people were friendly and the food pretty good so no complaints. Stopped in Dubai for a couple of hours and tried some stawberry lemonade. Recommend it!
Arrived in Rome just after lunch and made our way to our b&b (eventually). The bus and metro were easy but our inability to read a map made hard work of locating the b&b. once there we celebrated with a gelato from the most popular gestate rica in Rome:) before an early night to catch up on some sleep.
