Ubud I Couldn't Flush

Yesterday I went on a full day tour with my friend who I met in Jogjakarta and we got caught up again in Seminyak.  The two of us and one other hired a driver and went to three Hindu temples here in Ubud, including Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, which is the famous often-photographed water temple. The first two Hindu temples we're full of tourists. The final temple, of which I don't know the name of, was very peaceful. There weren't many tourists there at all.

We also walked through the rice fields, which we're beautiful and went to a waterfall, which was nice as well.

It was a long day of driving around in the station wagon. We returned about 6:00 pm. (we we're picked up at 8:30).

At the end of the day, one of the girls who went with us mentioned she was going to a Balinese dance show, and she mentioned I could go with her. So I did. Walking there, I bumped into  my three friends from the hostel in Seminyak who happened the be staying near by. It turns out they wanted to go as well, and they had rented motor bikes, so the two of us rode on the back of their motor bikes to the show.

The show was fun. A orchestra banged on traditional drums and the dance was good, with thrilling costumes.

At the end, my three friends from Semiyak went out for dinner and I joined them since I haven't eaten all day-the other girl wasn't hungry and had to wake up early the next day so walked back to the hostel. We ate dinner at a restaurant called "The Cheapest". The food was pretty good, but I had to go to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper-I ran out and told the manager and he told me just to grab napkins from the table.   The toilet didn't flush either at the restaurant. Not good after Indonesian food with hot spicy sauce.
