Yesterday, I checked out of the Britannia and started my 3 day tour of Loch Ness and Skye-I don't know what skye is of course.
The guide is a very nice, enthusiastic man. Of all the countries and tour guides I have heard in my life, including those where English is not the primary, language. He is the hardest to understand with his Scottish Brogue. For example, people wanted to photograph Scottish Cows (with horns and a thick velvety coat), and he said there was no time "you will see the cruise on your way back". (cruise was for cows).
Also saw Loch Ness. IF I saw the monster this would have been cool. But instand of cool it was just cold. And we saw a castle (and couldn't go in)-So it was everything you would think of a cold windy boat trip on a lake.
