Well no turning back now. I am sitting on the floor uncomfotably in Miami International Airport waiting for the flight-only 1 1/2 hours till boarding-which I shouldn't be in a rush considering I will be sitting on the plane for 9 1/2 hours or something like that. It was an easy commute here, as I walked 10 minutes to the main road, took a Broward County Bus to the Fort Lauderdale Tri-rail station, and arrived here at the airport roughly 2 hours 15 minutes after leaving. Well what do you expect considering the bus and tri-rail cost $7.00. I am unemployed now so have to watch my $
I am nervous and feel lonely. As mentioned, I have worked with Carnival for nearly 11 years, and it is sort of shocking that life is over. I am glad I took this step, and there is no turning back now (especially because to get back home would require taking the tri-rail back to the bus-and that is a b__tch.
I am going on Thomas Cook Airllines-and they are a real airline-not a travel scam. I wasn't sure yesterday when I tried to check in with the reservation number and it wouldn't let me. I felt I was scammed considering the abnormally low price I found for this ticket (roughly $226)-only on the fifth try did I realize the 1 is really an i. (that never happened at Carnival ever, when someone couldnt' complete their online check in because a 0 was really an O).
I have a boarding pass and my bag is checked in-which shows me it might not be a scam. I think this is actually their first flight from Miami, is their are balloons, a podium and all this crap.
