Worldtrip a 45 year old's adventures around the world-which include everything from sitting in random McDonalds using his notebook, hanging with 22 year olds, and other immature stuff.

A Big Step

Today was my last day at work (and my birthday).  This was a scary thing.  I have been at my employer (Carnival Cruise Lines) for nearly 11 years, and have built up a great base of clients and many friends as well.  To walk away was no easy step.

In any case, manaement has been incredibly supportive and even bought me a cake on my last day (and birthday), along with some soup (which I think I left in the office-sorry Jodi), a huge world mug, and a book for a journal. While it is nice to move on-it is difficult to leave such an incredible group of co-workers.

"Your co-workers are like family" is cliche-but so true.
