Skeena time

Time to catch the train to Prince George.

Drove back into Jasper to drop the car off and had the pleasere of seeing a mother bear and two cubs crossing the road in front of us and then saw about 6 Elk all standing in and by the road just at the exit of the park.  This made us realise that the majority of "elk" that we thought we had seen previously were actually Mule deer (still very pretty but bnot quite the same!) Needless to say I failed to get a single picture cos I was too busy just watching - stupid!

Anyway had a superb breakfast at a dinner that was obviously popular with locals as it was packed. Then boarded the train and met our conductor who was brilliant, really amusing and full of useful infomation and lots of promises to tell us about the areas we will passing through and what we are going to see, so that should make it a more interesting journey.

Didn't really see much in the way of wildlife from the train but the scenery was beautiful and some of the other people on the train were quite friendly so chatted with them a bit. Saw lots more freight trains, they are so huge, longest one so far was 189 cars - how the hell to they start and stop!
