So now I`m finally going on my first Canadian train journey - this is kind of what it has all been about as my "dream" has been to go coast to coast by train. So it snowed overnight which was a bit strange but quite exciting too, although it had melted mostly by mid morning whan I went ot catch the train. bought my packed lunch with me and checked in my bag - I`ve never been on train before where you check your luggage like you do when flying!!!
The seats are surprisingly big and adjustable so the journey should be OK - thought I. Saw snow, snow, snow snow Oh! and more snow - guess it`s been snowing a lot in Canada then.
OH MY GOD - what was I saying seats big etc. etc. 20 hours on a train is not good - what on earth am I going to do on the 30 hour journey to Winnipeg, I felt like the living dead when I got of the train and couldn`t even check into my hotel until later in the day cos I got to Montreal so early.
