Welcome to my journal! If you're reading this -- Congratulations!! -- you found me. Please let me know that you're out there -- this can get pretty strange -- not knowing if anyone is reading this or if I'm just talking to myself (and my friend, Steve, the psychologist, says they have a term for people who spend too much time talking to themselves!)
I'll be traveling through Europe the next nine months or so meeting interesting people and having wonderful adventures -- who those people are and what those adventures will be -- well, guess you'll just have to keep reading to find out. My goal is to try to "blend in", do normal everyday things and meet individuals who will help me understand what it means to be "European". I'll be doing some "touristy" stuff too so you'll get the obligatory photos now and then of the Eiffel Towers, castles, vineyards, etc....
Oh, and I do plan on having "adventures", which will probably come my way fairly quickly as I don't speak French, German, Italian, Croatian (you get the idea), have never traveled in Europe before and don't know a single person here -- should be fun!
Okay, so that's what this is all about! Let's get on with it!
