World Nomads Travel Programs

1. Information on the competition and how to enter "Where in the World in Sanchez?" forms part of these conditions of entry. By entering this competition you agree to be bound by these conditions of entry and all decisions of the competition promoter (World Nomads) which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. The scholarship and these conditions of entry are void where prohibited by law. Any changes to these conditions of entry will be published on the World Nomads website at www.worldnomads.com.

2. The promoter is World Nomads Pty Limited of 1306 World Tower, 87-89 Liverpool St, Sydney, NSW 2000.

3. Employees of World Nomads and their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and members of their immediate families or households, are ineligible to enter this competition.

4. Entry is free. No purchase necessary. You must be 18 or older. To enter, submit a photograph or video of Sanchez (World Nomads logo) somewhere in the world. All entries must be real - photoshopped images will not be eligible. You can submit your entry by doing the following:

a) Upload your image to www.flickr.com or www.worldnomads.com or video to www.youtube.com
b) Tag the image "Sanchez?" and add it to the World Nomads Group at either http://www.youtube.com/group/worldnomads or http://flickr.com/groups/worldnomads/
c) Complete the brief entry form.

5. The competition entries can be submitted from 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time on January 10, 2008 and entries close at 11.59pm AEST on 31 October 2008. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by World Nomads and World Nomads records are conclusive as to the time of receipt. All dates are subject to change if necessary in World Nomads discretion.

6. The competition winners will be awarded on a monthly basis commencing in February 2008 and finishing in October 2008. Winners will be selected by a panel of three judges from a review of all eligible entries based on the most creative entry. The major prize winner will be selected from the monthly winners by the judging panel. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.

The selections will be conducted at World Nomads Pty Limited of 1306 World Tower, 87-89 Liverpool St, Sydney, NSW 2000 at the end of each month between December 2007 and October 2008 with the major prize winner being announced on November 10, 2008. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.

Each monthly winner will receive the following;

• World Nomads Sanchez Tshirt, sunscreen & luggage tag

The major prize winner will receive;

• 1 x return economy airfare from the nearest major international airport to Lima, Peru, organised by World Nomads.
• 1 x 15 day Intrepid Tour, 'Peru In Depth' to be taken anytime between December 08-March 09 subject to availability. Trip includes accommodation, some meals, transfers, activities and an allowance of US$170 to cover meals. • 1 x Ultimate Explorer LT backpack from Eaglecreek
• 1 x North Face Denali jacket from Alrtrec.

8. Each winner will be notified by email and the winner's name will be published on the World Nomads website within 14 days after selection.

9. If the winner is not immediately identifiable or contactable, World Nomads will make reasonable efforts to identify and/or contact the winner. If the winner has not accepted the prize within 10 days of notification, the next best entry will be selected as the winner.

10. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail or any errors or failures in internet or other communications. World Nomads reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition promotion if, in its sole discretion, the administration of the competition promotion is impaired for technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control and, in such an event, may select the winner from all valid entries received prior to the impairment.

Each monthly prize consists of:

• Boundary Backpack (US$85)
• Adventure Medical Kit (US$25.50)
• World Nomads Tshirt, sunscreen & luggage tag (AUD$40)

Total value of each monthly prize is approximately AUD$486

The major winner prize consists of;

• 1 x return economy airfare from the nearest major international airport to Lima, Peru (approximate value AUD$3,500)
• 1 x 15 day Intrepid Tour, ‘Peru In Depth’ (approximate value AUD$2,450)
• Meal allowance (US$170)
• 1 x Ultimate Explorer LT Backpack (US$275)
• 1 x North Face Denali Jacket (US$165)

Total value of major prize is AUD$6,650

12. The value of the prizes is accurate at the date of commencement of the competition promotion. World Nomads accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes after that date. The prizes cannot be refunded, transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. World Nomads reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute the prizes with cash or a prize of comparable value if the prizes cannot be awarded as described for any reason.

13. The major prize winner will be responsible for all personal expenses and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with the prize that are not included in the prize description. The major prize winner is also responsible for all transportation to the point of departure, including accommodation costs prior to and following the travel dates in order to meet flight connections and any vaccinations required.

14. The major prize winner must hold a valid passport. Entry visas will be organized prior to departure.

15. Each prize winner agrees that acceptance of the prize is conditional upon compliance with all relevant laws, rules and regulations and upon the prize winners releasing World Nomads, Intrepid Travel, Eaglecreek.com and Altrec.com and their affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action for any personal injury or other loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered in connection with the acceptance or use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. World Nomads reserves the right to disqualify the prize winner at its absolute discretion in the event of non-compliance or the failure to provide such releases.

16. It will be a condition of entry that both competition entrants and prize winners will grant a non exclusive copyright license to World Nomads to reproduce the photograph or video for subsequent promotion of World Nomads.

17. World Nomads reserves the right to remove any photographs or video from the competition that are deemed to be offensive.
