Landed a job in China for a few years. Away from the capital and out in the real China. Plenty of time to have a look around a country that has a heap to see.

Martin at the north western tip of Olkhon Island. He's standing beside a Shaman monument in freezing winds. The view was worth it though. The northern end of the lake has a lot more wind so the snow had been blown away to expose the ice.

Svetlana from Baikal Adventures. The ice keeps moving and cracking and the pieces that are broken off are as clear as glass.
