Lots of waiting for buses today, so I didn't do much of anything. Waited over an hour for the bus from Nocelle to Positano, went down to the port & walked around a little, tried to find my NY friends @ the beach but no luck. So I walked along the pretty little streets, darting in between all the slow ambling tourists, & found the bus stop to go to Praiano. I didn't buy a ticket b/c for some stupid reason I assumed I could get one on the bus, so I waited for the bus to arrive, but of course could not get on without a ticket. So I gave up on my plans for the day. I went & got lunch, then took a bus back up to Nocelle & went for a hike. There are all kinds of trails, so I just explored in one direction until I got stared down by some locals, then went in the opposite direction until I reached a road. The views are just phenomenal up here, and it is nice being away from the crowds, even if it is a little of a pain getting into town & back. The bus rides are exciting though(even though I get super nauseous almost every time) up & down these one lane windy roads, battle between vehicles when it comes to who gets to pass, the bus honks around every blind turn to let anyone coming know there will be a bus in their path.
I feel out of touch with the whole world up here in Nocelle, no sense of time or place.
