My face broke into a wide grin as I stood before the Martin Jonas painting of a man with huge hands and a tiny head.  When Jelena suggested we visit the Gallery of Naive Art in Kovacica we thought she meant "native" not "naive."  "Naive" was correct but we would probably call it folk art.  By any name, the paintings will leave you smiling all day long.  The gallery has been in existence for 60 years, the artists are all local and their work is bright, colorful and whimsical.  Don't miss it!
