Kyoto is temple town, there are over 3,000 temples and shrines and having come from seeing some in Tokyo i wasn't enjoying the prospect of being "templed out" very soon

but! Kyoto has some very different ones, golden ones, silver ones, an actual castle! which was quite something, even if we went on the worst day to see it.

this entry is kind of condensed because its been so long since i was actually there (relative to the other entries i have made)

we received a 4th year party at the hostel we were staying in, the owner of the chain no less turned up and gave us wine, then decided to accompany us to karaoke which we ended up doing for a good two hours.

i gave an amazing account of myself in a duet with Bernard from singapore, the song was "love you just the way you are" by Billy Joel, otherwise i was very poor.

Due to us moving from 1 k's hostel to another, we were well known with some of the people who had moved on before, and some after, so we weren't ever short of people to talk too, and the Gomez photos ive added reflect this. I've tried get a photo of him with as many people from different countries as possible, and will continue to do so
