Reached Chicago and went for drinks. The people in the city all seem to be really sound. We went to one bar and the barman, doorman and a local barfly all started giving suggestions about where we should go. This happened everywhere we went. On recommendation by a few different people we went for a city view up the John Hancock Tower rather than the SEARS, and afterwards caught a taxi out of town to a place called the Green Mill. This used to be Al Capone's hang out. We tried to get tickets to a sporting event but failed.
