Cleveland/Toledo

USA | Monday, 4 January 2010 | Views [296]

Not much to say about either place. We turned up to Cleveland after leaving Niagra at about 1800hrs we tried a couple of places to eat recommended by the guide which were shut so after a bit of a goose chase we settled on a Hard Rock Cafe. There were actually two of these in Niagra which we could've gone to without travelling 200miles!

Strangely there were a group of Yugoslavs sat eating on the table near to us - they seem to get everywhere!

In the morning (5th Jan) we headed for Chicago stopping off at a place in Toledo for hot dogs. Tony Packo's Cafe, situated in the Hungarian Ethnic area of Toledo called Birmingham! Apparently the TV series M.A.S.H made it famous. The hot dogs were good but when we asked the Manager if there was anything else to see in Toledo before moving on the answer was a definate No. We promptly left for Chicago
