Left washington with Derby driving heading north towards Niagra Falls. We decided that it would be best to stop off at a small town just outside Niagra as a hotel would probably be cheaper. we chose Hamburg, apparently the home of the Hamburger, but Derby disagrees...
On the journey we listened to the radio - a talk show about the Glbalwarming bubble bursting was on. Then it started to snow... The Interstate was OK to drive on and we made it to Hamburg after about 8hrs drive. we missed the town center but stayed in a motel on the outskirts opposite a bar called the towne house.
A very local place.. One guy drinking there went out to his truck and brought back about 100 photos to show me. Most were of his friends and pics he'd taken on Mothers Day last year. A bit random. Had a burger there. It was rubbish.

Bob drove to Niagra. about 30miles North East - opposite way to where we want to go! The town was covered in snow. an niagra park was free to enter because it was out of season. We saw the falls on the American side and they were rubbish so went of to Canada. It was well worth the walk over the bridge to another country. Once back in the car we decided to head for Toledo for a Hot Dog but changed our minds and went for Cleveland
