Sarawak 2018

6 days is hardly enough to get a sense of a place, but we like what we saw!
Since childhood viewings of National Geographic magazines, Borneo has been top of list for an adventurists soul. And in the midst of our short visit we managed to view orangutangs in their forsted reserves connected to the upland wilds. And after a brief semi-heroic effort to follow a coastal rainforest hike we double backed in defeat only to find the Proboscis monkeys we were in search of back by the park headquarters slipping through the treetops and eventually in full display! Wow. A thrill that rushes through you. The capital Kuching with it's riverside promenade just below our hotel window fills in our final few days with a slow draw to the finish of our five month sojourn through Southeast Asia.
