4 Over 5: The World is My Home

La Boca

ARGENTINA | Tuesday, 15 October 2019 | Views [122]

I have arrived just in time for the cold spell. Since my arrival the temperature has dipped to 12 degrees and it is raining. So much for my plan to enjoy some warmth before heading south.

This did not stop me from joining my hostel's walking tour.

La Boca

This is the city's second oldest neighbourhood (after San Telmo where I am staying). The most important street is Caminito, which is lined with brightly coloured dwellings, artisan and souvenir stalls and street hawkers. Historically, a Caminito is a communal dwelling populated with immigrant and working class people.
