Medellin- Bogota. Rio Claro (21-22 of February)
Yes, it was fun and wild rafting the river. Really not difficult but very entertaining. When the guide is having a good time - all are having a ball. We stopped at ropes to jump/swing into the clear, cool water - we challenged each other to do so.The whole trip lasted for two hours and towards the end the guide floated the raft under a waterfall to chase us out of the boat and we floated downstream in our life vests the last two or so kilometers to the end of our rafting destination. It looked funny all those heads bopping in the water. It was a good day. The cattle truck took us back and soaking wet we walked the kilometer and a half back to our tent, but not without registering for our next adventure exploring the caves the following day. It was ridiculously cheap ($7 per person which included a guide) and we had heard that it should not be missed.
