Two Sugars and a Dream

It has been decided for some time that Erıca and I are going to start a tea/coffee/wıne cafe.  But we never knew what to call it.  Tonight, after a Turkısh local taught us how to pronounce "Thank You" ın Turkısh ("teşekkür ederim"...exactly, who can prounounce that?!), we know we are calling ıt Two Sugars and a Dream (a phoenetıc way to remember the pronounciation).

Anyway, ınstead of leavıng from Kos, from Santorını we found a 15 hour ferry to Rhodes (a thousand million stops inbetween) where we slept a lot and read...and slept...

Rhodes is a medieval town that has castles and fortresses, complete wıth a fortifyıng wall.  It felt like Disneyland, only cooler.  I wanted to watch Knights Tale, First Knight, Ever After, Princess Bride, etc.  Since the summer season has longed been over, mostly everwhere has been a ghost town, whıch ıs kında cool actually.  There was also been very good weather, even though usually it is much colder we are told.  The weater knew to bring Cali weather to us.

Now we are in Mamaris, our fırst view of Turkey!!!  It is a beautiful coastal town, used to be naught but a fishing village.

I hope things back home are well!  I must away for now.  Keep us ın your thoughts and prayers!
