I never tire of walking along the rocky coast that this area offers. I would assume that part of my fascination is that the topography is so very different from Florida. There is also the thrill of a different spectacular view to behold, each time you take a corner. All the angles change!
I am obviously not alone, for the path was pretty active considering that the temperature was warmer than it has been all month. Of course, right by the water, it had to be at least 10 or 15 degrees cooler than in the center of town. In fact the difference was so great that the drop was creating its own mini-micro-climate with a little mist being created.
It took a few minutes to figure out how the people who were sun bathing below had reached the "beach". In fact a group of young women had planned to rendezvous with friends and they had to call them to find out how to reach them. (Boy, were they embarrassed!)
If you want the large, wide beach you have to be willing to share it with everyone. For a more private experience, you must be ready to "rough" it.
