Exploring Amsterdam's Museum Area On A Sunny Day

NETHERLANDS | Thursday, 18 August 2016 | Views [377]

Amsterdam is rather unique in that several major museums are located quite close to one another. For example near the Van Gogh Museum, you also have the Museum of Modern Art, The Rembrandt Museum as well as the Concert Hall. The area is filled with charming restaurants to take care of all the museum goers. And a close walk away is the Vondelpark, which is the largest and most popular “showplace” park in Amsterdam. It is made up of multiple lakes, open-air restaurants, flower gardens, toddler pools, bike trails, climbing gyms and as many bike riders as people trying to walk or relax in the park. Vondelpark makes our local park, Westerpark, look tiny by comparison and it is really quite large
