Utrecht; it's Not Just A Paint Brand!

NETHERLANDS | Tuesday, 2 August 2016 | Views [236]

Since we had some time to spare before we arrived in Amsterdam, we decided to visit Utrecht which is about 10 miles away from Amsterdam. It is very much a city in transition. There is so much building going on! Huge cranes dot the skyline and there is a mix of the post WWII architecture as well as cool new buildings popping up like dandelions. There was a very interesting Mosque with a Kabob Restaurant on its first floor! Now that's practical.

And bicycles everywhere!! And the riders do NOT follow the posted rules. They are everywhere and they make driving a nightmare. They text, go down one way streets the wrong way, pass cars on the sidewalk giving pedestrians something to think about!
