My Travels This is a day by day journal, so in the future I can look back and reflect on my experiences and those I have shared them with.

Pumamarca, Tilcara, Humahuaca former homes of the Inca´s

ARGENTINA | Friday, 20 March 2009 | Views [840]

Got picked up early (again) for yet another excursion. This one, included an overnight stay in a mountain village called Pumamarca, renowned for it's 7 coloured mountain which overlooks it.

Also, visited Tilcara, which is the location of Inca settlement. Much of the area had been restored so it gave a good idea of how view once lived.

Next stop Humahuaca. Had lima for lunch, which was actually really tasty.  Can't really remember what was so significant about Humahuaca but it was a charming little place.

Stayed overnight in Pumamarca in lovely little hostel just off the main square.
