Halfway through my time in Paris

Well I've done the first 2 weeks of my CELTA course, and it's not been as hard as everyone told me it would be, although I've worked pretty hard this weekend.  Maybe the next 2 weeks will be the challenge!

This must be the worst summer Paris has ever had!  I've seen the sun once since I've been here, that was the first day and since then it's been cloudy and very rainy.  Today I got caught in a torrential downpour - this doesn't feel like summer!

I haven't seen so much of Paris really, i don't have enough time to be honest, but next weekend I'm expecting a visitor so perhaps I'll see a little more of the city then.

I'm looking forward to Lyon as well, just a few days there but it should be fun.

Hello Gemma, I found your blog by doing a search for students of the ILC CELTA program. I've been trying to find someone I might write to concerning their experiences at ILC, since I'm undecided about where to take the course. I live in the south of France, in Montpellier.

If you have a moment (I realize you're busy with coursework), could you email me? I don't expect you to write a recommendation, but I have some specific questions...

Thanks so much!
