Had a ticket for the hop on hop off bus for two days so decided to do the far off bits first. So the red, yellow and green lines saw us through most of central Hollywood for a look, but also out to Santa Monica and Venice Beach. We got out and has a look and walk in both spots, also checking out Muscle beach. Santa Monica pier was interesting - it is sort of like a country fair with kiddie rides and the equivalent of fairy floss and shooting games. I tried out something called at funnel cake which was like a strange iced waffle while the girls and Ian all had ice cream (which they assured me were not as good as Wendys at home). Found out lots about the stars and where they live and where movies and sets were. Was an interesting day. Chinese for takeaway tea - enjoying just being family.
