Liverpool Catherdral

UNITED KINGDOM | Friday, 15 May 2015 | Views [274]

Finally at night I took a tour of the Liverpool Cathedral. This is one of the largest church's in Europe, and on my tour I was able to climb the bell tower to get a panoramic view of Liverpool.

The church was started in 1904 and was completed in 1978, yet a video I saw explained that this church  was finished on time. Other then budget constraints and world wars, the guide didn't know why it took so long, but that is a time table I can relate to! Long, compared to many others. It is one of the largest church's in Europe and absolutely gorgeous.
